What Snoot is
Snoot is an animal knowledge company, made in Madrid. We build software that turns animal history, behavior, and source-backed research into things people want to return to — starting with a storybook of dogs for iPhone.
What we believe
Animals deserve to be understood with accuracy, warmth, and wonder. Most of what the internet says about them is filler; we’d rather tell fewer stories and get them right. Every Snoot story is checked against the record before it’s told, and where it leans on the record, the record is named.
Why dogs first
Dogs are the first volume. Twenty breeds painted as living portraits, five worlds of stories, a read-aloud room for the smallest listeners — one animal, told properly, before we turn to the next. Other animals will get the same care, in their turn.
How it stays honest
Snoot doesn’t sell ads and doesn’t sell data. The app needs no account and doesn’t track its readers. Sources are named where the record is leaned on, and the hard parts of any breed’s story are told with love rather than left out. The product is the product.
